Connecticut family sessions, New Haven County family portraits, family photography

Aren’t we having a gorgeous fall?  The predictions called for foliage peaking early, but I think they were wrong for us here in Southern CT–somehow the trees still look beautiful!  It’s been so great for photos, including these of this wonderful family that I’ve been photographing for quite a few years now :).  They have gorgeous smiles and big hugs for each other, making my job so easy…

Connecticut family photography, children’s portraits in New Haven County

Since I know these three and their mom well, I know they are always up for a little bit of playfulness.  We had great fun along the trolley trail at Stony Creek (one of my favorite locations!) with the reeds and the gorgeous views of the old bridge.  We had beautiful light and great smiles :).  Thanks for a great session as always, guys!

Connecticut family photography, fall family portraits, holiday card photos in Hartford County

I had such fun Saturday afternoon with this family, who have moved to a more rural part of Connecticut and who therefore have some pretty amazing photo locations near their home :).  We settled on these old tobacco barns and fields, which were basically a photographer’s dream spot (feel glad these aren’t near my house, I would never be able to stop posting photos ;)).  They were up for trying anything, even venturing into these spooky old structures, and we found gorgeous pockets of light everywhere.  Thanks for a really unique and fun session guys, I loved all of it!

Connecticut family photography, dog portraits, fall foliage family photos

How about starting off our Friday with some serious German shepherd cuteness?  This is Bear, he’s about 12 weeks old, and he’s ADORABLE.  We had a wonderful family session this week in the late afternoon light, on one of those increasingly rare warm days when you don’t need a coat and the air doesn’t have that cold edge.  Thank you for a great session guys, I really enjoyed our walk and meeting your new addition :).
