My fourth and final Hawaii post! I finally sorted through all 1800 photos I took ;-). Below are photos from our few days in Wailea, the “resort” coast of Maui, where it’s almost always sunny, the waves at the beaches are fun to jump in, and sea turtles abound! Highlights were a whale watching trip where we got lucky enough to see whales repeatedly breaching, an outrigger canoe ride where we helped paddle and we learned about Maui’s history from a local, and a luau–yes, it was a bit commercial-feeling, but a really great show!
