Jess & Daniel are married!

Massachusetts wedding photography, Connecticut wedding photographers, bridal portraits in Arlington

Jess and Daniel are officially married, and I was lucky enough to get to photograph it!  I photographed these two (and their adorable pup) for an engagement session in the fall, and it was a pleasure to photograph them again for the BIG DAY this past weekend :).  I have a feeling that when Jess and Daniel chose their ceremony site–the gorgeous gardens of the Arlington Town Hall in MA–they didn’t expect that their late May wedding would be in 90+ degree temperatures!  But I’ll take that any day over cold and rain, and it really felt like the kickoff to summer, which put everyone in an even more festive mood :).  Jess’s face completely lights up when Daniel is near, and Daniel looks at her so adoringly.  I love getting to witness those quiet moments too, especially when a couple does a “first look” and sees each other before the ceremony–there is time to just quietly reflect in advance of all the guests arriving, and to take some portraits before the rush of the party.  The Arlington Town Hall is a beautiful space, with a large balcony and giant windows that let the late afternoon light in at interesting angles.  Daniel’s family is very musical, and all of us were treated to musical performances by his close family members (and Daniel himself during the reception!) that felt concert-worthy to me.  It was amazing and certainly got everyone dancing.  It was a special night, and I hope the photographs allow them to remember the little details forever.  Congratulations, you two!
