I spent a really fun afternoon with the owners, brewers, and bartenders of this new (opened in April) craft brewery in Groton, Connecticut last week. Outer Light Brewing Company is making a great variety of delicious (I sampled :)) small-batch brews, and it’s obvious they are doing it right: people were waiting to get in for their 5 pm opening time on a Wednesday evening, and within five minutes the taproom was packed (see photo!). I loved chatting with the owners about this laid back, friendly gathering place they have created, and it was great fun to get some portraits for their website too (I’ll post those next week). If you’re in the New London/Mystic area of CT, I highly recommend a stop to visit them. Enjoy!
