I am so happy and proud to announce the publishing of Empress Adelaide Dances at 8, a time-telling tale by award-winning children’s book author M. W. Penn, illustrated with photographs by me! This project has been in the works for over two years, and is now officially published and available for purchase here! The story follows a little girl through the hours of the day as she pretends to be an empress while living her daily life.
Putting this book together was a great experience for so many reasons–it was a pleasure to work with the author and the model (who was incredibly cooperative and such fun! Some of you will recognize her), and it was a bit different for me to take on the role of producer and director for so many staged shoots (since as many of you know, my style during family sessions is typically much more “go with the flow”). Here are the front and back covers and a sneak peak at four of the inside spreads (it is a square paperback book, measuring 8.5×8.5 inches).
