I would like to invite everyone to the opening of a group photography show on Saturday, March 2nd, from 2-4 pm at the Willoughby Wallace Memorial Library in Branford. Susan Bender, Marcia Cohen, Sherry Fogel, Kathryn Frederick, Harold Shapiro, Deborah Tenney, Dianne Thouin, and I will be represented on the walls of this beautiful exhibition space. I’m honored to be exhibiting alongside these photographers and feel lucky to also be able to call them friends. The photographs on display range from eerie, luminescent caves to forest scenes to all sorts of animals; some are in color, and some are in black and white; some are photographs taken with digital cameras, some are produced in the darkroom. With this show we are also remembering Marcia Cohen, one of our group members who passed away at the end of 2012 and whose wonderful photographs will also be on display. If you can’t make it to the opening, the exhibit will run through March 27th.
