Hamden portrait photographer, Connecticut family portraits
I had the pleasure of meeting this family for a wonderful session at one of my favorite parks, Brooksvale in Hamden, last weekend. Since it is one of their favorites too, little miss C. was very comfortable there from the start. She is a stunning little girl, with a timeless look and such expressive eyes! This also happens to be a family of scientists, and I really mean a family of them–this four year old knows about things like winter dormancy and nocturnality! I loved it :-).
I had fun using a variety of editing techniques on these photos because her face lends itself so well to so many looks! I played with both soft and dramatic black and whites, and natural vs. pop-color in cool tones (swing photo). Enjoy!
